What To Do If You Find Out Your Fling Has A Husband
One of the cardinal rules of a fling is that it is supposed to be casual. The key to maintaining a fling is that you don’t want to know too much about each other. There are some things, however, that will make a difference in your fling experience. That is how it affects the people in both of your lives. It is important to know if there are other people in the picture that can either get hurt by your sexual fling, or you can get hurt by them if they find out. It is important to know if your fling has other people in her life, like a husband. If you didn’t know when you started your fling and suddenly found out, you only have a couple of options.
End the fling
If you didn’t know that your fling was married when you started your affair, you may want to do the right thing and end it. There are plenty of fish in the sea, and being with someone else’s catch may not be something you are comfortable with. If you don’t like either that you weren’t told to begin with, or that you now know, you may want to let her go and find someone else to fill the space left. The last thing you want is for her husband to find out what you have been up to. Most likely he will be mad at her, but he will be more angry and take it out on you.
Keep it hidden
If you find out that she has a husband then it is time to kick the hiding part into high gear. If you don’t want to let go of her, you definitely don’t want him to find out about you. Being cautious is very important to continue the fling. Two things could happen if you don’t. The first is that he will kill you, the other is that he will break up with her. If he breaks up with her she will probably come crying to you. If you aren’t ready to replace and be her new husband, you better make sure that he doesn’t find out.
Make everyone else aware
If you have been dumb enough to introduce her to others make sure that they understand that your relationship has to be kept under wraps. Make it clear to everyone that your fling is now underground. You may want to just tell them that you have ended it even if you haven’t, to protect yourself. From now on you will only want to meet her when no one else is around, or in places where no one knows either one of you.
Drop her from Facebook
If she is on your Facebook page, whether you continue to have a fling with her or not, you will want to drop her from your friend list. You want to make sure that you have no connection to her at all. If you are friends, there is the potential that he will see you on her page and start making connections between the two of you. Six degrees of separation can become much closer when it is a small town, even if not, it is always a small world.
Find out who he is
You may want to investigate who her husband is. If he is a big guy, you may want to consider finding someone else. If he is a nice guy you may want to move along. If he is a powerful man, you may not want to continue to take the risk. Finding out who he is may make the decision to stay with her, or without her, easier. There are some guys that you just don’t want to mess with. It may seem weird to find out who it is that she is married to, but it is important to know who you are involved with, and who they are involved with.
To be fair, a fling should always be honest about who they have in their life. You don’t have to know their mother or father, but if they have said “I do” in the past, that is something they should feel obligated to share with you.
